Alcohol Policy:You are free to bring your own alcohol into the space AS LONG as you abide by our Alcohol Policy. If your event does not comply with our alcohol policy, you must either 1) not serve alcohol, or 2) have alcohol served by a OLCC licensed bartender.

Setup/Cleanup Time:We allow guests to begin setup 15 minutes before their booking begins, and to leave 15 minutes after their booking time end. If you stay beyond our allowed period, we will charge for the additional time at the same rate.

Day-Of Logistics:The way we typically conduct bookings is by setting up any tables you request, giving you an access code to get into the space, and sending basic cleanup/lockup instructions to follow when you leave. Our staff is available via call or text if you have any questions.If this is not workable due to the nature of your event, please feel free to reach out to us, and we can work something out.

Insurance:We do not require event insurance. If you have booked with us through Peerspace, we require guests to follow Peerspace's Social Events Policy, which may (depending on your event) require you to obtain event insurance.

Food Policy:We allow guests to bring in their own food. If you are hiring a food vendor, please notify the event manager. We will need a copy of their license and insurance.

Payment:We require a complete deposit to confirm a booking and reserve a time for your event.If you have inquired through Peerspace, then Peerspace will handle your payment. If you have questions about how or when you’ll be charged, visit their info page below.

Parking:There are many places with metered street parking as well as a paid parking lot across the street available to you to use. Download the "Parking Kitty" app to make street parking in Portland even easier.Pricing:
Street Parking: Pay to park 8am-7pm Mon-Sat, and after 1pm Sun @ $2.20/hr
Parking Lot: Pay to Park All Hours
First hour $3, additional hours $4.

Chairs:We have 65 chairs available for you to use at no extra charge.

Decorating:You are free to stick things on the wall as long as you use non-marring tape (like painter’s tape). No harsh adhesives allowed. No command strips are allowed EXCEPT for the brand linked below:

Bathrooms:We have two separate, general-use bathrooms that are ADA accessible.

Sound System:We have a sound system available with two Yamaha DBR10 speakers connected to a mixer (within a locked cabinet. Can be opened upon request). You can plug in a phone or laptop with a provided AUX cableand dongles to connect an iPhone or android (USB-C). We also have a microphone available to use.There is not a "noise ordinance" in our location, so loud music late in the evening is no problem.

TV:We have a 65” flat-screen TV available with an HDMI connection.

Accessibility:Our space's main entrance is wheelchair accessible, and both bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.

Kitchen Equipment:We have a small kitchen area with a counter and fridge. We do not have any cooking equipment on site.

Capacity:The venue's legal capacity is 120. And we would recommend ~80 seated and ~110 standing.

Monitoring:We have a camera on site inside the space.

Wifi:We have wifi available at a 100 Mbps / 15 Mbps download / upload speed. There is a clipboard in the back of the space next to the sink area that has the password posted.

Cleanup- Leave linens on tables
- Leave tables set up
- Gather all trash and put next to the double doors.
- Stack chairs back in the far corner of the space
- Turn off sound system using the power strip in the black box
- Close blinds on doors and windows
- Turn lights off
- Lock up both entrances.

Mixer instructions

We have a selection of tables available at no extra charge:

- 2 Wooden tables (10’ x 4') (seats 10 each, also great for serving food)

- 5 Round tables w black linens (70" across) (seats 8 each)

- 4 Rectangular tables w black linens (6' x 29") (seats 8 each)

- 4 Cocktail tables w black linens (31" across, 44" tall)

If you come to the end of your booking and you would like to extend it, call your host and they will let you know if the time after your booking is available to book. If it is, you can keeping enjoying the space. You will be charged at the same rate as your rental. If the time afterwords is not available, you will need to leave to allow another previously booked event to take place.

Payments: (For bookings made directly with Garden Space and outside of Peerspace):We require a deposit of 50% of your total booking cost to reserve time on our calendar, and the remaining 50% paid 1 week before your event takes place.Refunds:Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund of their Booking Price.Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund of their Booking Price.Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable.
